Alban Bagbin: Ghana needs a legal framework to safeguard students' rights to practice their religion.

The Speaker of Parliament, Alban Sumana Bagbin, has upheld for the reception of an exhaustive system to defend strict privileges and opportunities, especially for understudies in open instructive establishments.


In spite of the arrangement for Opportunity of Religion in Article 21 of the 1992 Constitution, the Speaker mourns the various examples where understudies have confronted segregation in light of their strict direction.


Talking at the send off of the 'Ghana Parliamentary Council on Opportunity of Religion or Faith' in Accra on Monday, Mr. Bagbin underscored the requirement for the country to strengthen endeavors at advancing strict concurrence.
