The one-day conference, which was spearheaded by the Judicial Training Institute (JTT), had the theme: "Supervising High Court Judges Regional Administrative Officers and Court Registrars of the Judicial Service in the Southern Sector of Ghana" as part of the Chief Justice, Her Ladyship Justice Gertrude Sackey Torkornoo,'s efforts to improve the administration of justice and guarantee a responsive legal system that meets citizens' needs. Building the Mainstays of Equity in Meeting and Agreement".
The conference's main goal was to improve the administration of justice by discussing relevant, useful models for removing obstacles to justice delivery's efficiency and effectiveness.
As per Equity Gertrude Torkornoo, "Court Recorders assume a vital part in the equity conveyance framework and as semi-legal officials, it critical that they are educated, have trustworthiness and solid administration abilities". The Gathering was subsequently implied to include members in finding viable arrangements o issues that neutralize
powerful and proficient conveyance of administrations to people in general.
The Conference found that work at the registry level and in judicial administration as a whole is hindered by institutional and structural barriers.
It further filled in as a road for direct collaborations with the Main Equity, The board, Managing High Court Judges Local Managerial Officials and Court Enlistment centers, and to trade thoughts and
exchange.
The result of the exchange will at last frame the reason for systems and strategy records that will advance proficiency and adequacy in court organization.
There were introductions by certain overseers of the Legal Help on recognized areas of concern followed by breakout meetings that tended to viable difficulties managerial/library work, for example, execution, bails, Letters of Organization, planning of Warrants and so on.
The Conference Rapporteur, Her Ladyship Justice Dorothy Kingsley-Nyinah, ultimately presented a conference communique on building the pillars of justice while achieving coherence and harmony; an Equity of the Great Court and Quality Confirmation Chief of the Legal Help.
In the Northern Sector of Ghana, a conference similar to this one will be held for regional administrators, registrars, and supervising judges.
