The National Democratic Congress (NDC) is scheduled to formally announce Prof. Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang as the party's running partner as part of the party's preparations for the December elections.
The University of Professional Studies' (UPSA) Kofi Ohene Konadu Auditorium will host the event, which is scheduled for Wednesday, April 24, 2024.

Prior to the next elections, the event is intended to demonstrate the NDC's dedication to inclusion and progressive leadership, according to a statement released by the party's communications officer, Sammy Gyamfi.
Several well-known NDC members are anticipated to attend, including John Dramani Mahama, the party's flagbearer for the general elections of 2024 and a former president.
Members of Parliament will also be present, along with a wide range of esteemed visitors from the university, women's groups, the diplomatic corps, the clergy, Nananom, labor organizations, and the creative arts, among other fields.

A portion of the release said, "The running mate, Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang, will address the nation on the NDC's vision for a progressive, inclusive, and prosperous Ghana, as well as the live-transforming policies of our visionary Flag-bearer for the general elections in 2024."
