According to a Jerusalem Post story, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) killed top Hezbollah intelligence array terrorist Hassan Khalil Yassin on Saturday in a follow-up precision attack in Beirut's Dahieh region. "Yassin stood at the head of a department responsible for the identification of civilian and military targets, on the northern border and deep within Israeli territory," according to the IDF. It stated,
"As part of his role, Yassin collaborated intensely with all of Hezbollah's offensive units, was personally involved in the planning of terror attacks that were executed during the war against Israeli civilians and soldiers, and planned additional attacks to be carried out in the coming days."
In the meantime, Lebanon attacked Israeli territory after its leader, Hassan Nasrallah, was killed. The IDF stated on social media, "After a launch from Lebanon into Israeli land, sirens went off in the Jerusalem area. Following the passing of Hassan Nasrallah, the head of Hezbollah, the IDF announced plans to launch another strike in Beirut.
